The Field Manual
A preparation and integration workbook for the work ahead. The same crossing the rest of this site tells in the old language — threshold, descent, return — laid out here in working order.

An intention is not a demand or a performance goal. It is a compass, not a steering wheel.
This workbook helps you find one, carry it into the work, and come back with something you can actually practice. The medicine may open a door. What happens afterward decides whether any of it mattered: how insight becomes action, how feeling becomes honesty, and how honesty changes the way you live.
It is the unglamorous half of the work, written down. Clients move through it before we meet, and again in the days after.
The Four Movements
01
Get oriented. Name what’s alive in you, and the pattern under the symptom. Choose an intention you can hold in the room.
02
Set the conditions and cross. When it gets hard, the body is the anchor. Surrender is not the same as giving up.
03
Before you reach for meaning, write down what happened. The after-action for what surfaced.
04
Turn intention into right-sized action. The return becomes real in what you do differently on Tuesday.
“Insight without action is just a story you tell about yourself. The question is not what you experienced. It is what you do differently on Tuesday.”
Yours to Keep
You don’t have to be a client to read it. No email, no form, no exchange. If it’s useful to you, it’s yours.
